Call for Papers: Topics on Recent Advances in Textile Engineering and Mathematical Modelling

Mathematics plays an important role in textile engineering. For example, nonlinear vibration systems have been widely used in many areas of physics and engineering. These systems have significant importance in textile engineering particularly in nanofiber fabrication and optimal control system. Due to the last development of nanotechnology, nano/micro devices and systems, e.g., nanotubes, nano/ micro structures/systems, and nanofiber fabrication have been caught much attention, and the era of miniaturized nano devices is approaching. The nonlinear vibration or instability becomes the cutting edge in nanotechnology and nonlinear dynamics. To control the instability becomes the main focus in designing a device or a system. This special issue focuses on analytical, computational, and experimental approaches to nano/micro structures/systems.

The purpose of this special issue is to announce a collection of original and attractive with recent advances in textile engineering and mathematical modelling on a broad variety of topics related to nano/ micro structures/systems, and nanofiber fabrication with their applications. This special issue also focuses on recent developments based on the fractal and its applications in complex systems, including theoretical and numerical which are frequently used in textile engineering.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following areas:

● Mathematical models and fractional models for vibration /instability in a   nano/micro device, and a nanofiber fabrication system

●Optimal control of system governed by nonlinear vibration equations with fractal or fractional derivatives

● Vibration of carbon nanotubes

● Pull-in instability of N/MEMS system

● Periodic properties of N/MEMS system

●Nonlinear vibration in electrospinning or bubble electrospinning process

● Vibration of nanofiber-reinforced hierarchical concrete

● Vibration and control of 3D printing systems

● Big data and machine learning for nonlinear vibration & active control

● Analytical methods and numerical methods for the above problems
