Call for Papers: Topics on Advanced Equipment and Control for Smart Grid

Smart grid can be defined as self-sufficient systems, which allows integration of any type and any scale generation sources to the grid that reduces the workforce targeting sustainable, reliable, safe, and quality electricity to all consumers. Advanced equipment and control pave the way to make the grid smarter and stronger. Significant research has been done to accelerate this progress by using (i) advanced power converters; (ii) advanced operation strategy for power system; (iii) advanced planning and optimization for the distribution network. Fruitful results have been achieved in recent years, and this topic intends to collect and report the latest developments on advanced equipment and control for smart grid.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Advances in topology design, modeling, and control for power converters

  • Researches on the planning and optimization for distribution network

  • Advanced control and operation strategy for power system

  • Emerging devices and associated technological research for the equipment in smart grid

  • Advances in energy storage system for smart grid

  • Dynamic stability of smart grid with new energy
