Call for Papers: Eco-Friendly Textile Processing Technologies

With the goal of achieving peak carbon dioxide emission before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060 in China, great efforts have to be made in CO2 emission reduction in textiles. Furthermore, human society is facing ever increasing environmental pollution pressure. Textile processing, from fiber treatment to fabric manufacturing and dyeing, from processing of apparel to processing of industrial textiles, is often accompanied with large CO2 emission and severe environmental problems. Thus, CO2 emission reduction and eco-friendly technologies in textile processing are in high demand and further studies are warranted.

The topics on eco-friendly textile processing technologies include (but not limited to)

  • Fiber modification/treatment

  • Fabric treatment and manufacturing

  • Eco-friendly Dyeing

  • Textile composites

  • Smart and functional textiles
